Vintage Marshall White Co Chicago CAMEO Bakelite Silverware Flatware Chest
This is an absolutely gorgeous vintage piece of Bakelite. The item has a few signs of damage as shown in the photos, there is a large chip of missing Bakelite on the left side of the lid. It is not noticeable when looking down. At the item a d can be seen when the lid is open or when looking directly on the left side. There are also 2 chips on the bottom on the “legs” but does not have any effect on the function of the item as it sits flat without any rocking. The lid does not open fully so that it stays opened on its own. I am unsure as to whether it is supposed to function in this way or not. The heavy brown felt material lining the inside of the box is intact and is in excellent condition. I have cleaned it looks in good shape. All the screws holding the felt in place are there as well. This item is 7 pounds without any packing material or box, so please check shipping charges to your area prior to bidding.
