Beautiful and Sophisticated Gilt Silver, Jeweled  and Guilloche Enamel Pill Box, French or Austrian, circa 1900
A top quality French or Austrian Silver and Guilloche Enamel Pill Box, circa 1900 of
circular shape with fitted lid, a light blue enamel center with gilt highlights and marcasite or diamond inlay . Hallmarked on the rim, but we could not identify the marks. In any case, it is either French or Austrian and the quality of the item speaks for itself.
The interior is gold washed. I have to stress it is in excellent, age appropriate condition, with very minor wear and surface loss to the interior gold wash. A true little jewel.
