Outstanding Sterling silver hand hammered trinket box by Heather Studios of Mexico. Box measures 4.75″ X 1.5″ X 3.25″ . Weighs a hefty 342 grams. Has a nice solid quality feel in your hand. 11 Troy ounces of solid Sterling silver.  It is hallmarked by the maker, Heather Studio and has the Mexican government touch mark eagle stamp inside the lid. I believe this style eagle mark was used from 1948-1955. The lid is hand hammered and the bottom and sides of the box are smooth. The lid has a border that seems to be southwestern in design. Resembles rope and cactus to me. I think it is a stunning little box. The new owner may want to give it a light polish on the inside, but I don’t think it is really needed. You look and decide.
