Tank Valve Thread Sizes are different than what you measure with your ruler.
Please use the following as ruler measurements:
Steel Cylinder Tapered Thread Valves (Nat’l Gas Thread):
1″ NGT  = 1-3/16″  – 30.226mm ruler
3/4″ NGT  = 15/16″ – 23.876mm
1/2″ NGT  = 11/16″ – 17.526mm
Aluminum Cylinder Straight Thread Valves (UNF – Unified Fine):
1.125″ UNF = 1-1/16″ – 26.924mm  ruler
0.750 UNF = 11/16″ – 17.526mm
