This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the
Original West End production of the JULIAN FELLOWES, RICHARD M. SHERMAN and ROBERT B. SHERMAN musical “MARY POPPINS”
at London’s Prince Edward Theatre

(The London production began previews on December 6th, 2004, officially opened on December 15th, 2004 and closed
January 12th, 2008 after more than 1250 performances. The
Original Broadway production would
open November 16th, 2006
at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City
and
close March 3rd, 2013 after 2619 performances.) ….. Based on the
stories of P. L. TRAVERS and the Walt Disney film, the musical starred
SCARLETT STRALLEN in the title role, GAVIN LEE as “Bert”, ADEN GILLETT as “George Banks” and REBECCA THORNHILL as “Winifred Banks” and featured ZEE ASHA, ROMY BASKERVILLE and LOUISE GOLD with JORDANA BELAICHE, OLIVIA GRIFFITHS, AMY PALMER, ISABELLA SEDGWICK and JODIE WELCH alternating in the role of “Jane Banks” and DANIEL BARBER, TOM BARKER, LAURENCE BELCHER, SAM COX, ROBERT MADGE and CHRISTOPHER THOMAS alternating in the role of “Michael Banks”

This single page, two-sided flyer measures 4″ X 8 1/4″ inches and includes wonderful graphics on the front and ticket prices and booking information (through April 28th, 2007) on the backside ….. CONDITION: This flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
