Ferris Wax Blocks Purple  is a carving wax extruded and pre-formed to a solid block shape used for making models to be reproduced by lost wax casting. A special modeling wax used to make jewelry, sculptures, and other parts. Each cake is smooth and porosity-free. Can be carved, sawed, filed, machined, or turned on a lathe, and it can be melted to build up shapes through layering.
Ferris Purple Carving Wax is an all purpose grade, has medium characteristics. The medium grade work-ability of this carving wax makes it a popular choice. Purple grade wax is suitable for general carving designs. The Purple wax is the most popular grade for Jewelry Wax /Design Students and beginners in Wax Carving.
